At CookersAndOvens we offer free two man delivery on most of our appliances to most postcodes in the UK mainland.

Delivery surcharges apply to deliveries in Northern Scotland as per Delivery Exceptions below.

 

 
Delivery Options

Delivery on IN STOCK items displaying the green in stock banner on the product page is currently 7-10 days and our carrier will contact you directly to book in a date for delivery.
 
If the product page has the grey banner displayed the product will not be in stock and will ned to be ordered from the supplier. To avoid disappointment we urge you to call prior to placing your order where we can gladly advise of the forecast lead time from the manufacturer. These vary considerably depending on the model and the supplier.

Please do not book your fitter until the appliance has been safely delivered. We can not accept any consequential loss claim for the cost of your installer in the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown or your appliance arriving damaged.

We offer free delivery to the majority of UK postcodes. We can not offer delivery off shore with our two man carrier - this service is restricted to mainland only. Our 2 man delivery team will deliver most appliances weighing less than 100kgs to a room of your choice (limited to first floor only if no lift is available) and will unpack the appliance fully for your inspection and also dispose of the packaging for you if required. This excludes range cookers and American fridge freezers which are ground floor delivery only, due to their size and weight. If you have anything more than a usual doorstep or threshold please be aware that delivery will only be possible to the steps and you will be responsible for getting the appliance inside. The delivery crew can not lift and carry range cookers or American fridge freezers up or down steps due to their weight. Please also measure your external and internal doors and consider the access route through the property, as the delivery crew will not unpack appliances outside of the property due to a higher risk of damage to both the appliance and your property.

We are proud to work closely with our delivery partners BJS Extra and 2MHD who are our white glove, 2 man home, delivery service providers and DPD Local who take care of the smaller items and accessories. They will monitor your delivery every step of the way with updated delivery information and provide delivery timeslots minimising any inconvenience as much as possible for you.

Appliance Storage & Delivery Advice

Kitchen fitting been delayed or you want to take advantage of an exclusive offer before it expires? No problem. We can store your appliance free of charge for up to 12 weeks. This allows you to order in advance to avoid any last minute availability panics and to save you having big, bulky items on site whilst work is being carried out.

At CookersAndOvens we often use third party courier services to deliver our products, so on the very rare occasion that the delivery does not go entirely according to plan, we recommend that you follow this advice.

  • Please check the delivery note carefully before signing to ensure that you have received the correct appliances.
  • We strongly recommend that you inspect your appliances before accepting the delivery to check for any damage. If you believe your goods to be damaged or incorrect, we advise you to refuse delivery and contact us on 01543 222 100 straight away to report the problem.
  • Please do not book fitters to install your appliances until you have received and checked your goods. If your appliance is incorrect or damaged we cannot refund you the cost of booking your fitter.

Please note, DPD Local who deliver smaller items and accessories have a policy of not allowing goods to be inspected until they have been signed for. In this case, your rights are unaffected and any issues or requests to return the product should be noted with the delivery driver immediately.
