Faber Ilma 60cm Stainless Steel Integrated Hood

The Ilma is a built-in hood exclusive to Faber that protects the kitchen furniture. It uses the patented Faber “Steam-Off System” technology to combat the problem of condensation forming on kitchen cabinets during cooking.

The Ilma cooker hood is constructed from stainless steel and features the copper panel of the “Steam-Off System”, a glass visor to help capture even more steam and odours and 2 LED lights that light up the hob area below.

The Steam- Off system allows the hood to extract steam so effectively as not only does it suck fumes in, it also emits an air jet that creates a vortex of air in your kitchen. This vortex carries fumes away and propels steam upwards to the extraction area.

Faber’s Steam-Off System is different from other solutions on the market as no extra heat is generated by the hood in order to eradicate condensation and is, therefore, more energy-efficient and has an energy rating A.

The Steam-Off System is particularly effective with induction hob tops. Due to the lack of residual heat emitted from induction hob plates, condensation easily forms on surrounding cool surfaces, the Ilma extractor quite simply eliminates this problem.

The Steam-Off System also allows the cooker hood to be smaller than the hob beneath, as the unique vortex technology collects a greatly increased amount of steam and grease particles from the cooking area.
