Kitchen Shop Blog: Charles Viancin Silicone Lids

Don’t you just love a brand spanking new invention? Here at The Kitchen Shop we are loving these new Charles Viancin silicone lids! They are fairly new but are taking the UK by storm.

The lids create an airtight seal on any smooth surfaced bowl and so replace the need for cling film or foil. They look fantastic as airtight covers for your BBQ food or party buffet food, keeping it fresh and the flys out.

Because they are heat resistant up to 220°C, they are microwave, oven, freezer & fridge safe, so you can use them on top of bakes or to reheat or steam things. They can be used as saucepan lids or frying pan splatter guards too and are also dishwasher safe and BPA free.

They stop annoying insects from getting into your drinks outside and they keep cold drinks colder and hot drinks hotter for longer due to the seal they create! Our customers use these to cover small bowls of leftovers or even pet food tins in the fridge. We also stock matching bottle stoppers & drinks coasters.

Some of our customers who have purchased the lids already say they love the fact they can slap them on their kitchen tiles or the front of their oven or fridge when they are not using them as it brightens up their kitchen!
