Although CookersAndOvens is an online appliance retailer, we have over a hundred years of experience behind us. CookersAndOvens is part of Walter Tipper Limited, a family run company that has been trading since 1888 and is still run by the Tipper family to this day. Tippers’ is most well known today as a chain of builder’s merchants with 7 branches across the West Midlands, but we also incorporate three luxury kitchen and bathroom showrooms where you can see many of our products on display.

Joe, Amy, Andrew and Bill Tipper

Andrew Tipper is the Managing Director of Walter Tipper Ltd and has been running the business for over 45 years. His children Joe, Amy & Bill are all directors of the company as Financial Director, Marketing Director and Sales Director respectively. We launched our first website, CookersAndOvens, in 2006 and we now run 6 websites across the home and construction industry.

Melanie

Melanie joined us back in 2011 as the Sales Team manager at CookersAndOvens. Melanie has completed training courses from Rangemaster, ILVE, Neff, Britannia, Weber and Bosch, so you’ll find it hard to ask her a question about our appliances she doesn’t know the answer to! She has a lovely dalmatian called Henry (check out her amazing recipe for Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits) and loves to spend her time on holiday with her family and taking part in the weekly pub quiz!

Emma

Emma joined the team in 2013 as a Web Sales Administrator, and she has already graduated from the Rangemaster, ILVE, Neff & Bosch training courses and has fantastic product knowledge. She loves her greyhounds Shelley and Tigger and is often caught late at night in her garden star gazing!

Jean

Jean joined us in 2014 as our second Web Sales Administrator and has recently completed her Rangemaster, Neff, ILVE and Bosch training courses. Jean loves socialising with her friends and can be known to do the odd spot of baking.

Allan

Allan joined us in 2013 as our Search Engine Optimisation Specialist. He’s the one that makes sure we appear in Google, and all the other search engines, when you search for us. Allan spends most of his time with his two sets of twin girls and his son, but when he gets a spare moment he loves to catch up on the latest film and TV releases.

Hayley

That’s me! I’m the Digital Marketing Executive which means that I’m the one who writes all the emails and blog posts. I also manage all of our social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest and Google+ – I hope you’ve been enjoying my Friday Food Facts! I have so far completed my Rangemaster, Neff, Bosch, Weber and ILVE training. In my spare time I love baking cakes (which I sometimes share on the blog if they turn out well!) and going to the cinema.
