Did you know that we have started to sell scrumptious deli style products in The Kitchen Shop! With the lack of a good deli in Lichfield, our customers have expressed a massive interest… so what the customer wants the customers gets!
Recently we’ve been doing a number of tastings & special deals on everything from vintage cordials to BBQ sauces to gather feedback from our customers. These products are of the highest quality which is why our customers said they taste amazing! We regularly hold tastings in store using our best selling and newest products, visit our Facebook page to find out when our next one is.
Earlier on this month we had a Seed & Bean Chocolate tasting. We virtually sold out as the chocolate is organic, ethical, Fairtrade and made in England! Fantastic flavours such as Chilli & Lime, Lemon & Poppy seed, Mandarin & Ginger were amongst the favourites.
We also love the Mr Fitzpatrick’s Vintage Cordials, so much that we have to keep ordering new stock for ourselves! We stock 13 flavours such as Rhubarb & Rosehip, Blood Tonic, Sasparilla, English Elderflower & Brambly Apple to name a few. Mix them with sparkling or still water for time travel in a glass!
Our Bread Dippers are a firm favourite and we often team them up with fresh bread from Hindleys Bakery in Lichfield to taste. The best seller is Garlic & Parmesan as it is so moreish!
The last tasting we did was for our Newfoundland Screech Rum BBQ & Steak Jerk sauces. K R Evans Butchers in Lichfield kindly donated some “Lichfield” Sausage (which by the way is awesome!) to pair with the sauces for our tastings. The favourite was the BBQ sauce which isn’t surprising in this weather but it’s really good as a marinade too!
Our Deli stock is sold in the shop as normal, but we are attending The National Memorial Arboretum on Saturday 28th June, Armed Forces Day, where they will be holding a Food Fair in the Pavilion Marquee. We’ll be there with a few tasters and selling our goodies.
