At CookersAndOvens we offer free two man delivery on most of our appliances to most postcodes in the UK mainland.

Delivery surcharges apply to deliveries in Northern Scotland as per Delivery Exceptions below.

 

Delivery Options

The delivery timescale for IN STOCK items to most postcodes is 2 working days. Please click on this link to see the attached map for further information as some more remote postcodes are only covered on certain days. Where an appliance shows ‘IN STOCK’ you will be able to select a preferred delivery date at check-out. If the appliance is not in stock our delivery team will contact you as soon as it arrives in our warehouse to confirm your delivery date. Keen & Able will contact you the evening before your requested delivery date with a text and email narrowing it down to a four hour timeslot and on the day of delivery they will give you a pre call to narrow that slot down further to two hours. A 30 minute pre-delivery call is also available if required.

We can offer a Next Day pallet delivery service on orders placed before 1pm. If you wish to take advantage of this service please email or call us after placing your order to advise that you wish to take delivery via our pallet carrier. This will be a kerbside delivery with delivery to your driveway on a pallet the next working day. The driver is not insured to bring the appliance inside so please ensure you have two strong able bodied people available to take the appliance inside for you. We will e-mail you the details for the transport company and your consignment number on the day of despatch so that you can call them on the morning of delivery to obtain an estimated time slot.

If the appliance is not showing in stock on our website it will be ordered in from the manufacturer, this can extend the delivery time to typically 5-10 working days. Some range cookers will be on extended lead times from the manufacturer of up to 5 weeks. Please feel free to call or e-mail our friendly sales team to discuss availability and delivery dates prior to placing your order.

Please do not book your fitter until the appliance has been safely delivered. We can not accept any consequential loss claim for the cost of your installer in the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown or your appliance arriving damaged.

We offer free delivery to the majority of UK postcodes. We can not offer delivery off shore with our two man carrier - this service is restricted to mainland only. We will deliver to a ground floor room of choice and will unpack the appliance fully for your inspection and also dispose of the packaging for you if required. Our 2 man delivery team will deliver most appliances weighing less than 85kgs up to a third floor at no extra cost. This excludes range cookers and American fridge freezers which are ground floor delivery only, due to their size and weight. Please be aware if you select Next Day Pallet delivery this is a one man delivery to your driveway only.

We have recently partnered with Keen and Able for a trusted, professional home delivery service delivered by a team of trained experts. Their 5 star, white-glove home delivery service provides a hassle free delivery service. They will monitor your delivery every step of the way with updated delivery information minimising any inconvenience as much as possible for you.

 Installation Options

All of the following options also include two man delivery into the room of your choice:

  • Disconnection and removal of old appliance - £109
  • Connection of new appliance - £149
  • Disconnection, removal and connection of new appliance - £199

Please note these services are fulfilled by AgaRangemaster's Home Delivery Team with a typical leadtime of 10-35 days depending on the availability of the model at AgaRangemaster.

At this moment in time, I'm afraid we can only offer the installation options above. We can however, store your appliances securely for up to 12 weeks in our warehouse until you have arranged installation. See below for more details.

To ensure your appliance is installed successfully, you will need to make sure that:

  • Your chosen fuel source is accessible and positioned at the rear of the appliance
  • An easily accessible isolation switch no more than 2m away from the appliance but not directly above it
  • The area directly above the full width of a hob (whether as part of a range cooker or as a separate appliance) must be kept clear to a height of 65cm. There must not be any electrical sockets, isolators, switches or combustible material such as wallpaper.
  • Your kitchen should have appropriate ventilation

Appliance Storage & Delivery Advice

Kitchen fitting been delayed or you want to take advantage of an exclusive offer before it expires? No problem. We can store your appliance free of charge for up to 12 weeks. This allows you to order in advance to avoid any last minute availability panics and to save you having big, bulky items on site whilst work is being carried out.

At CookersAndOvens we often use third party courier services to deliver our products, so on the very rare occasion that the delivery does not go entirely according to plan, we recommend that you follow this advice.

  • Please check the delivery note carefully before signing to ensure that you have received the correct appliances.
  • We strongly recommend that you inspect your appliances before accepting the delivery to check for any damage. If you believe your goods to be damaged or incorrect, we advise you to refuse delivery and contact us on 01543 222 100 straight away to report the problem.
  • Please do not book fitters to install your appliances until you have received and checked your goods. If your appliance is incorrect or damaged we cannot refund you the cost of booking your fitter.

Please note, DPD Local who deliver smaller items and accessories have a policy of not allowing goods to be inspected until they have been signed for. In this case, your rights are unaffected and any issues or requests to return the product should be noted with the delivery driver immediately.
